Tata Nano Lx Special Edition
During my college days I used to dream of owning a bike and go around in it. But unfortunately due to some reason I was not allowed to ride two wheeler. During my travel to my office daily I was getting exhausted in bus due to rush in it. So I used to take our family car. It is good and comfortable but it raised my monthly expense and it consume lot of parking space as well.
This made me think of owning my own car which I can use as my personal vehicle which can be used for daily purpose and look stylish. My requirements were,
- Look stylish.
- No parking problems
- Should not feel tensed if I have to go to city.
- Should have good mileage.
- Low maintenance cost.
- Should reach speed min of 60 Kmph to max of 100 Kmph.
- A car which can be used for office travelling as well as to go on a ride with friends on weekends.
- Within the budget and not much expensive.
I tested a lot of vehicles before concluding. Many hatchbacks fulfilled 50% of my needs but at last I took a test drive of Nano.
I was not having a good impression of this car but still have thought to give a test drive. And I was shocked to see it had fulfilled all of my requirements I had listed. I have been told it sounds like an auto rickshaw. Yes it does from outside, am sure that person who told this never sat in that car and checked it. I did check this and I didn't hear that sound what you do hear outside.
If you had traveled in a Volvo rear engined ac bus you will hear slight sound of engine and its the same kind of sound you hear inside this car. I purchased "NANO Lx Special Edition Papaya Orange" on March 2013. I have completed 18000 Kms on its one year birthday. I had travelled in this car daily to my workplace, on weekends to hangout with friends. It never disappointed me till now. I am very happy with this vehicle because of the reasons below.
- Less parking space.
- Good short turning radius of 4mtrs.
- Spacious and ample of leg room for back seaters as well.
- Good mileage. I get 23 Kmpl on Highway with AC on in a speed of avg 85 kmph. On city i get 20Kmpl.
- It does reach 105Kmph top speed as promised.
- Powerful AC.
- Big windscreen which feel better when you travel with friends on weekends.
Many of my friends laughed at me when I bought this car but, they were surprised when they traveled in this car and were shocked. Many of them were happy to see its space inside, powerful AC and short turning radius.
In total I love my Nano and I love to drive it.
