Mayavathi have hit back to this news saying that Julian Assange founder of Wikileaks is mentally retarded and needs to be sent to asylum. She has also said she will provide the facility for him in Agra asylum. She had not even left out the option here to say that Wikileaks have been mingled with the opposition party to get these kind of baseless news through which she could get some more vote from the people for the next upcoming election.
To this comment from Mayavathi. Julian Assange has given back with the super duper comment which is a real slap on her face just with the words.
Julian Assange on Tuesday said that the Uttar Pradesh CM should “admit her mistake and apologise”.
In a press statement, Assange said, "There is no question that the documents (leaked US cables) are official papers... from the US embassy. These papers have been proven the world over, including by the aggressive persecution of our people by Washington.The allegations within them are made by US diplomats in their private communications back to (Secretary of State) Hillary Clinton. If Chief Minister Mayawati has a problem with the contents of these communications, she needs to take it up with Hillary Clinton. I ask that Mayawati admit her error and apologise,"
Taking a jibe at the BSP chief, he added, "Should she fail to do so, she is welcome to send a private jet to England to collect me, where I have been detained against my will, under house arrest for the last 272 days. I would be happy to accept asylum, political asylum, in India, a nation I love. In return, I will bring Mayawati a range of the finest British footwear."
Assange attacked the UP Chief Minister saying that she had “betrayed rationale thought”. He also put forth the query, “The question is, has she betrayed the Dalits?”
Taking a jibe at the BSP chief, Assange offered to buy a range of “finest British footwear” for her. Firing more salvos, he said, “I would be happy to get political asylum in India” and “Maya is welcome to send her private jet to England to collect me.”
Now we need to see how will our CM react to this. Will she even now accept her mistake and appologise or will she get on Assange by re commenting. Well most of us know the answer. What else our Indian politicians do during this situation. Lets wait and watch.
